Syrian government records 16 new coronavirus infections
DAMASCUS, Syria (North PRESS) – Ministry of Health of Syrian government announced on Tuesday night the recording of 16 new coronavirus infections in its held areas.
The official Facebook account of the ministry reported 35 recoveries.
The new infections were recorded as follows: five in Damascus, four in Rif Dimashq, two each in Hasakah and Homs, and one each in Aleppo, Latakia and Tartus.
The total number of coronavirus infections in the Syrian government-controlled areas has reached 57.114 confirmed cases, including 3.163 deaths and 53.644 recoveries.
