In one week Israeli missiles hit Aleppo Airport twice

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday evening, Aleppo International Airport underwent a second Israeli missile attack in one week, leaving material losses in the airport.

State-run SANA News Agency cited a military source as saying, “Nearly at 20.16 p.m., the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression, with a number of missiles, from the direction of the Mediterranean to the West of Lattakia, targeting Aleppo international airport.”

The source added, “The aggression caused damage to the airport’s runway that became out of service.”

On August 31, several Israeli missiles targeted the area surrounding Aleppo International Airport, targeting military posts affiliated with Iranian-backed militias.

The missile strike caused material damage to the airport.

On the same day, posts in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and its countryside were subjected to another Israeli missile attack two hours after targeting Aleppo Airport.

SANA noted Syrian Areal Defense Forces intercepted several missiles in the city of Aleppo, without elaborating about the extent of losses.
