Child lost life, 8 civilians injured in Turkish shelling of Syria’s northeast  

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – A child lost his life and eight civilians were injured on Tuesday in the Turkish shelling of the city of Kobani and the northern countryside of Hasakah in north and northeastern Syria. 

The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) said in a statement that three civilians were injured in a shelling by Turkish forces targeting the countryside of town of Tel Tamr in the north of Hasakah, northeastern Syria.  

A child lost his life and five civilians, including a woman and a child, were injured in a similar shelling of the city of Kobani, east of Aleppo, in which civil facilities were also targeted.  

The Asayish held the international community and the countries guaranteeing the ceasefire agreements accountable for the latest escalation.
