Turkish warplanes target government post in Syria’s Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, Turkish warplanes targeted a post of Syrian government forces in the western countryside of Kobani, east of Aleppo.

The Turkish warplanes launched nine raids which attacked a post of the government forces in village of Jareqli, west of Kobani.

An eyewitness from the village told North Press that 22 soldiers of the government forces were killed in the air raid.   

Since the early morning hours, the city of Kobani and its countryside have been subjected to shelling by the Turkish forces, which have claimed the lives of civilians, including women and children.
