Iraqi intelligence kills ISIS leader in al-Anbar desert
ERBIL, Iraq, KRI (North Press) – Iraq’s Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency announced on Sunday killing Wali of Anbar, the Islamic State Organization’s (ISIS) leader of al-Anbar Governorate, and three other militants in cooperation with the Targeted Operations Center of the Joint Operations Command.
The agency said that the federal intelligence agency set up an ambush for the so-called Abu Mansour and three of his fellow militants in the desert of al-Anbar.
Abu Mansour, according to the agency, is responsible for killing the civilians on the international highway in al-Rutba district. He also served in several positions and commuted between Iraq and Syria.
