Casualties in clashes between two SNA factions in Syria’s Aleppo

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) — The countryside of al-Bab, a city east of Aleppo in northern Syria, witnessed Saturday fierce clashes between the Levant Front and Ahrar al-Sham, two armed factions of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA), resulting in deaths and injuries on both sides.

A source in the area said that the Levant Front raided headquarters of the Ahrar al-Sham in the countryside of al-Bab, and arrested several militants of them.

As a result, clashes erupted between the two factions, which led to the killing of two militants and the injury of 13 others.

The fight was still taking place until the moment of finishing this report.

Several military vehicles were destroyed in the battle,  all targeted by RPG-7.

The area is witnessing a state of panic and fear among the residents, with the Levant Front bringing reinforcements and military columns, according to the source.

The city of al-Bab has been under the control of Turkey and its affiliated Syrian armed opposition factions since 2016.

The SNA-held areas are witnessing a state of security chaos, accompanied by continuous fighting over the original inhabitants’ properties, amid the factions’ inability to keep them under control.
