Israeli fighter jets target south of Syria’s Damascus

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli fighter jets targeted on Monday night sites and military goals south of the Syrian capital Damascus with several airstrikes, reporting no human casualties.

The State-run News Agency SANA cited a military source as saying, “At 23:18 p.m. on Monday 6-6-2022, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial act of aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some sites south of Damascus City.”

The source further explained that the Syrian air defenses intercepted the aggression and downed most of the missiles, reporting only material losses.

On May 13, Israel targeted the town of Masyaf in Hama countryside, in central Syria with missiles.

The Israeli missile attacks on Hama countryside killed five and injured seven including a child, according to a statistic released by Masyaf Hospital.
