Turkish shelling of Aleppo northern countryside injures child, kills number of sheep

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Turkish artillery shelling on a village in the northern countryside of Aleppo on Thursday injured child and killed a number of livestock.

“The 12-year old child, Hassan Mustafa, was wounded by several shrapnel as a result of a shell explosion near him while grazing sheep in the village of Tanab in the northern countryside of Aleppo. A number of his sheep were killed too,” a local source told North Press.

The Turkish forces and the SNA bombed the village of Tanab with several missiles, according to the source.

The villages of the northern countryside of Aleppo witness daily bombardment by the Turkish forces and the SNA.

President Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday said Turkey would rid northern Syria’s Tal Rifaat and Manbij areas of “terrorists”, confirming the targets of the new advance for the first time. He said the assault would continue into other regions.
