Turkey resumes shelling villages in Aleppo northern countryside
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, Turkish artillery resumed shelling of several villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo, without any news of the size of the damage it caused.
“Turkish forces shelled the villages of Smouqa, Dam al-Shahba Dam and Umm Qura, in the northern countryside of Aleppo,” a local source told North Press.
While two shells fell near the headquarters of the Russian forces in the village of al-Wahshiya. No information about the size of the damage was reported, according to the source.
On Wednesday, the shelling of the Turkish forces on the village of Aqiba in the Sherawa district in Afrin countryside led to the burning of a transport vehicle, in addition to the burning of a house and the collapse of parts of it.
