QAMISHLO, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) arrested on Wednesday two members of ISIS in the countryside of Hasakah, northeast Syria, with help of the Global Coalition.
The Asayish said on its official website that the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS reached two people who were coordinating to carry out terrorist operations near the town of Tel al-Jaer in the western countryside of Hasakah.
With air coverage from the Global Coalition, the Anti-Terror Units of the Asayish carried out a raid operation and arrested the two people.
During the investigation, the two accused admitted that they coordinated with the leaders of ISIS cells, financed their members. They also facilitated the killings and the bombing operations with the aim of creating sedition and destabilizing the security.
The Asayish confiscated Weapons, communication equipment and paper documents the accused had.
