Turkish drone damages house in countryside of Aleppo governorate
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone targeted on Tuesday morning a house in the town of Tel Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo governorate.
A local source from the region said that, the attack caused massive material damages to the house of Ibrahim Sheikho, who is an IDP from Afrin.
In January 2018, Turkish forces launched a military operation named “Olive Branch” on the city of Afrin and its villages with the support of their affiliated factions of the Syrian National Army (SNA) under the pretext of maintaining its national security.
The operation displaced hundreds of thousands of original inhabitants of Afrin to areas and camps in the northern countryside of Aleppo (Shahba region).
Since early May, the Turkish forces and the SNA factions have successively targeted villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo, resulting in massive material losses.
