Israili Shelling on Syria’s Hama kills 5, injures 9

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Israeli missile attacks on Syria’s Hama countryside late on Friday killed five and injured seven including a child, the state-run news agency, SANA, reported.

The missiles were fired at the town of Masyaf in Hama countryside, SANA said, adding that several missiles were shot down by Syrian air defences.

According to the Syrian Observetory for Human Rights (SOHR), a missile of the governemnt air defence fell in al-Bira area on the outskirts of Misyaf, causing fire to break out in some lands.

On May 11, Israeli missiles pummeled the vicinity of Hadar town in northern Quneitra, according to SOHR.
