DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Turkish Presidents Racap Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that his country rejevts Washington’s decision to rejevts areas held by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) from sanctions.
The US Department of The Treasury authorized on Thursday some foreign investments in areas of northeastern Syria held by the AANES and permitted transactions in several sectors including agriculture and finance.
Erdogan added that Turkey cannot accept the US’ wrong decision.
The US Department of The Treasury issued a general license authorizing activities in northeast and northwest Syria in 12 sectors including agriculture, information and telecommunications, power grid infrastructure, construction, finance, clean energy, transportation and warehousing, water and waste management, health services, education, manufacturing, and trade.
