Turkish shelling of Syria’s Manbij injures civilian
Manbij, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish forces bombed on Monday the village of al-Muhsinli, in countryside of Manbij in northern Syria with heavy and medium weapons, and a person was wounded as a result.
The Turkish forces bombed houses in the village, wounding a person with varying degrees of injuries. He was transported to a hospital in Manbij, a source from al-Muhsinli village told North Press.
The bombardment came from the Turkish base near the village of Awn al-Dadat, in the northern countryside of Manbij, the source added.
The villages of al-Muhsinli, Awn al-Dadat, al-Jat, Arab Hassan, al-Sayyada, al-Yashli and al-Boughaz in the countryside of Manbij were daily bombed by the Turkish forces during April, according to the statistics of the Manbij Military Council.
The aforementioned villages were hit with 55 artillery and mortar shells, killing a person and injuring another one, in addition to material damage to civilians’ property.
