SDF disengages tribal infighting in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Commandos of the Military Hajin Council affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) disengaged on Saturday a tribal infighting in a town, eastern Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.
Unidentified gunmen killed on Thursday the young man Khudeir al-Mahmoud in the town of Abu Hamam, east of Deir ez-Zor.
Al-Rifa’i family accused al-Marsoum family of killing their son due to an old dispute between the two families.
In response to the calls from the residents of the town, SDF rushed to intervene and break up the fighting.
After SDF intervened and cordoned off the town, calm prevailed the area and SDF started to settle the dispute.
After the tribal infighting, ISIS claimed on Friday the killing of the young man.
Thabit Hamada, a notable from the town of Gharanij said that the reconciliation is going.
