Broken Turkish drone found in Syria’s Aleppo region
ALEPPO COUNTRYSIDE, Syria (North Press) – A Turkish drone went down yesterday night on a village in Sharan district in the countryside of Afrin north of Aleppo.
Military sources said they had found the Turkish drone on Friday, it went down and crashed due to a malfunction.
This came in tandem with shelling by the Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed Syrian opposition factions targeting the outskirts of the villages of Aqiba and Ibbin in the countryside of Afrin with over 20 artillery shells.
The shelling resulted in material losses to lands belonging to residents, a local source told North Press.
Yesterday, the Turkish forces and the affiliated factions pounded Ibbin, the outskirts of the town of Tel Riffat, and the village of Ain Daqna in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
No material or human losses were reported.
