Government, opposition exchange shelling in Syria’s northwest
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish backed opposition Factions and the Syrian government forces exchanged shelling in the de-escalation zone in Idlib and Hama, northwest of Syria, on Wednesday.
Opposition military sources told North Press that “the government forces shelled the opposition factions’ posts, south of Idlib, with artillery.”
Similarly, the posts of the opposition in several town in southern Idlib plus the northern countryside of Aleppo, were also bombed by the government forces, according to the same sources.
Meanwhile, al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room, which is an operations room of Syrian rebel and jihadist factions, bombed the government forces’ posts in several villages, south Idlib, North Press reported military sources in the National Liberation Front.
Areas of northwest continue to witness military escalation and mutual bombardment between government forces and Turkish-backed opposition factions.
