Government force bomb opposition factions’ sites in Syria’s northwest
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The de-escalation zone in northwest Syria witnessed on Wednesday military escalation and exchange of shelling between the government forces and Turkish-backed opposition factions.
The military sites of the government forces in the villages and towns of al-Fatira, Kafr Aweid, Sufuhn, Kansafra, al-Bara, and Fleifel in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib, were hit with heavy artillery and rockets by the Syrian government forces stationed in the cities of Kafr Nabl and Ma’arat al-Numan, opposition military sources told North Press.
The opposition factions’ sites in the villages of Kafr Noran and Taqad in the western countryside of Aleppo, were also bombed by the Syrian government forces stationed in the 46th Regiment in the same area, said the sources.
The government forces stationed in the nearby camp of Jurin also bombed the village of al-Enkawi in the Ghab Plain, west of Hama, with artillery, according to the sources.
Meanwhile, military sources in the National Liberation Front told North Press that al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room bombed the government forces in the villages of al-Malajah and al-Dar al-Kabira, south of Idlib, with mortar shells.
The de-escalation zone in the northwest of the country daily witnesses exchange of bombardment between the Turkish-backed opposition factions and the government forces.
