Government force bomb opposition factions’ sites in Syria’s northwest
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The de-escalation zones in northwest Syria witnessed on Sunday military escalation and exchange of shelling between the government forces and Turkish-backed opposition factions.
The opposition factions’ sites in the villages and towns of Kansafra, al-Bara, Fleifel and al-Fatira in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib, were hit with heavy artillery and missiles by the government forces, ” military sources in the opposition told North Press.
Similarly, the opposition factions’ sites in the town of Ma’arat al-Naasan, north of Idlib, and the town of Kafr Ta’al, were also hit with heavy artillery by the government forces in the 46th Regiment in the western countryside of Aleppo, without reports of casualties.
Meanwhile, the positions of the Syrian government forces in the town of Dadikh, east of Idlib, in addition to other military points in the town of Sheikh Aqil in the western countryside of Aleppo, were hit with heavy artillery and missiles by al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room, military sources in the opposition told North Press.
The de-escalation zones in the northwest of the country daily witness exchange of bombardment between the Turkish-backed opposition factions and the government forces.
