Individual killed in Syria’s east of Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Friday at night, unknown attackers shot dead an individual in the eastern countryside of Daraa, south Syria.
The young man Omar Hassan al-Mef’lani was shot dead by unknown attackers, local sources told North Press.
“The shooting incident was carried out by unidentified individuals who were riding a motorbike in Nahtah in the eastern countryside of Daraa,” the sources added.
Al-Mef’lani operated within the ranks of the Syrian opposition factions before joining the process of settlement in the summer of 2018, according to the sources.
Following the settlement, he did not joint any military formation.
Daraa governorate witnesses increasing number of assassinations amidst security chaos without arresting the perpetrators while the residents of the governorate accuse individuals with links to the government security services of launching these incidents.
