Civilian and member of government forces killed in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday evening, two people, a member of the government forces and a civilian, were killed in Daraa governorate, south of Syria.

Unknown gunmen killed a civilian called Hussein Ali al-Hatiti near the city of Tafas, west of Daraa, local sources told North Press.

Al-Hatiti hailed from the Bedouin tribes from Suwayda, but he lived in one of the tents in the vicinity of the city of Tafas. He had  never joined any military side, the sources said.

In a related context, unknown gunmen stormed the tents of the Bedouin tribes near the town of al-Musaifra, in the eastern countryside of Daraa, and killed Muhammad Shahada.

“Shahada was from the Bedouin tribes in Suwayda, and worked within a military group affiliated with the Air Force Intelligence under the leadership of the so-called Muhammad Ali al-Lahham, known as Abu Ali al-Lahham,” the sources added.

The Secretary of the Ba’ath Party in Daraa, Farid al-Amarin, was deadly shot  on Tuesday by unidentified gunmen in west of Daraa.

It should be mentioned that Daraa, in particular the western countryside, witnesses daily killings of members of the government forces and former members of the opposition factions.
