Opposition faction members kill civilian in Syria’s Aleppo
ALEPPO NORTHERN COUNTRYSIDE, Syria (North Press) – Violent clashes took place on Saturday evening, between the residents of the town of Ihtimalat, north of Aleppo, and the Division 51 (one of the Turkish-backed opposition factions), at the backdrop of killing a young man by the latter’s members.
“Residents in the town attacked the checkpoint members, at the background of the killing of a young man at the hands of the checkpoint members at the entrance to the city, while no information was reported on the reason behind his killing.
Aftermath the incident, violent clashes erupted between the two parties, injuring two civilians, Basil Mustafa and Khalid Mustafa. One of the members of the checkpoint was seriously wounded, while the rest of the members ran away.
The residents stormed the checkpoint and took control of it and a convoy of the Levant Front faction from the city of Azaz came to resolve the conflict between the two parties, according to the source.
North Aleppo areas had previously witnessed similar clashes among the opposition factions, which resulted in deaths, injuries. Additionally, they caused a state of panic and fear among the people.
