Asayish arrest two drug dealers in Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) arrested two people on charges of selling narcotics in the city of Manbij, north Syria..

Following collecting evidence, the two men were ambushed and arrested  by the Asayish, the official website of the Asayish in Manbij said.

A quantity of narcotic pills, including of 564 captagon pills that the two men had, was seized, the Asayish said.

However, no information about the identity of the two men was released by the Asayish. They only said that the two accused men admitted to selling narcotics for money. They were then referred to the Public Prosecution for trial.

The Asayish affirmed their determination to pursue drug traders and combat this phenomenon that harms the individual and the society alike.  The perpetrators will be brought to justice and trilled in accordance with the law, according to the Asayish official website.
