Government soldier killed in Syria’s Daraa countryside
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – A member of the government forces died of his wounds on Thursday after being shot on Wednesday in the town of Kahil in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
Wael Ibrahim al-Masry, 38, was shot on Wednesday by unidentified gunmen and died of his wounds on Thursday,” local sources told North Press.
Al-Masry, was a member of the government forces and came from the town of Kahil in the eastern countryside of Daraa, according to the sources.
Since early 2022, the number of attacks in Daraa has risen, in light of the ongoing security vacuum in the governorate.
