Turkey continues its aggression against Syrian people, Future Syria Party
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish government continued to be aggressive against the Syrian people, Ibrahim al-Qaftan, head of the Future Syria Party, said on Tuesday.
Three members of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria(Asayish) were wounded, on Monday, by a Turkish drone targeting their center in the town of Abu Rasin north of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
Al-Qaftan condemned the continuous Turkish bombing of areas in northeastern Syria leaving destroyed infrastructure and human casualties.
Turkish drones, artillery, and Turkish-backed Syrian opposition factions continue to target villages and areas on the lines of contact with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the countryside of Hasakah and Raqqa.
“The Turkish government supports terrorism and commits violations on a daily basis in areas along the border northern Syria,” al-Qaftan told North Press.
“The political forces in northeastern Syria and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) are seeking peace and dialogue with all parties, but the Turkish behavior and that of the affiliated opposition factions undermine these efforts,” al-Qaftan added.
The Syrian government and the opposition should also realize that there is no military solution in Syria, not even through seeking support of international parties, according to al-Qaftan.
He noted that Syria and its people had suffered many losses during the years of war due to the lack of alternative projects that would fulfill the Syrians’ aspirations, as both the Syrian government and opposition sought support of external parties.
