DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian airlines dropped on Sunday the PCR test requirement for Syrian departures unless the country of destination requires so.
The Syrian airlines issued a circular to all its offices and tourism offices in Syria to drop the COVID-19’s PCR test requirement.
The procedure came within an effort to reduce COVID-19 restrictions as the country’s port and airport entries only require the vaccine card for arrivals without the need for the PCR test, the pro-government Al-Watan newspaper said.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 in Syria, the PCR test was one of the Health Ministry required procedures that both arrivals and departures had to go through.
