Government forces’ member killed in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – A member of the government forces was deadly shot on Sunday by the unknown gunmen in the eastern countryside of Daraa, south Syria.
“Ibrahim al-Hosani, a member of the Air Force Intelligence branch of the government forces in the eastern countryside of Daraa, was killed by unidentified gunfire on the road between the towns of Karak and al-Musaifra, east of Daraa,” a local source told North Press.
“Al-Hosani had joined a local group of the Air Force Intelligence branch led by Muhammad al-Lahham, known as Abu Ali al-Lahham, after the government forces regained Daraa governorate in 2018,” the source said.
Daraa, in particular the western countryside, witnesses daily killings of members of the government forces and former members of the opposition factions.
