Members of government forces killed, wounded in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Two members of the Syrian government security forces were killed and two others were wounded, on Wednesday, in an attack by unknown gunmen in the northern countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.
Despite the implementation of the Russian-brokered settlements, Daraa has been witnessing an increase in killing of civilians, government members and former members of the Syrian opposition, without specifying people behind these incidents.
The attack took place near the city of Dael in the northern countryside of Daraa, a local source told North Press.
Dozens of members of the government security branches arrived in the place of the attack and imposed a strict security cordon, after transporting the dead and wounded to Daraa National Hospital, the source added.
The security forces set up a temporary military checkpoint, and searched all passing cars looking for the perpetrators, according to the same source.
