IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – A Syrian child was killed on Monday at the hands of other Syrian young men in the Turkish state of Shanlıurfa, southeast of Turkey.
“The 14-year-old Syrian child, Muhammad Osama al-Dakhil, died of his wounds sustained as a result of being stabbed by young men,” activist Taha al-Ghazi told North Press.
“The young men, who killed the Syrian child, are also Syrians and come from the Golan Heights,” al-Ghazi added.
“The reason of the killing was to steal the child’s phone,” according to al-Ghazi.
“The child came from the city of al-Asharah, east of Deir ez-Zor, and was taken to Hospital 200 in the city of Şanlıurfa, but he died of his wounds,” al-Ghazi said.
