DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Two former members of the opposition were shot dead on Saturday by unknown gunmen in the north of Daraa governorate, south Syria.
The two young men Bashar al-Atmah and Abdullah al-Farouh were deadly shot by unidentified gunmen in the city of al-Sanamayn, a local source told North Press.
The two men were members of the armed opposition factions in Daraa but then reconciled with the government forces in 2018.
However, they didn’t join any military formations of the government forces. Rather, they worked as freelancers, the source said.
Yesterday evening, anonymous gunmen assaulted military points of the government forces with light weapons in al-Sanamayn, in the north countryside of Daraa. consequently, fierce clashes erupted between the two sides.
