WASHINGTON, USA (North Press) – There is a need for the political parties in Syria’s northeast and those in the northwestern part to overcome their political differences and work together to counter “the influence of the regime and its allies,” a Syrian oppositionist told North Press, Saturday.
“The Syrian regime is the worst of evils for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian opposition,” the Syrian oppositionist and the Executive Director of the Syrian Network for Human Rights, Fadel Abdul Ghani, said.
“The only option left is to make steps towards openness between northeast and northwest Syria in order to create a power to confront the regime and facilitate the daily issues for residents of the liberated areas,” he added.
“Things that bring SDF and the opposition close together are much more than those with al-Assad,” Abdul Ghani noted.
