ISIS claims responsibility for killing pharmacist in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The Islamic State Organization (ISIS) claimed, on Friday, responsibility for killing a pharmacist in a town east of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.
On Thursday, unknown attackers, who were riding a motorbike, shot at the 38-year-old pharmacist Abdulhamid al-Saleh killing him immediately in the center of Abu Hardub town, 80 kilometers east of Deir ez-Zor.
ISIS, through close outlets, claimed responsibility for the shooting incident and killing al-Saleh under the charge of dealing with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Recently, Deir ez-Zor countryside has been witnessing a spike in assassinations against SDF members, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) employees, clan dignitaries and civilians.
On Wednesday, ISIS gunmen shot dead Ahmad al-Jassem al-Ajjan, 58, one of the al-Dawagna clan notables near Jazrat Albo Shams town highway over charges of dealing with SDF.
