Unidentified individuals shot SDF member to death in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, a member of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) lost his life when unidentified gunmen shot him in front of his house in a town east of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
Azab al-Jumu’ah, a resident of Abu Hamam town, 85 km east of Deir ez-Zor, said that masked gunmen stormed the house of Ibrahim Muhammad, an SDF member, and killed him inside his house and in front of his family with a silencer pistol.
He added, quoting the victim’s family, that there were only two gunmen, and after they killed Muhammad, they chanted slogans of the Islamic State (ISIS), and then fled.
The eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has recently witnessed an increase in cases of targeting the members of SDF, employees of the Autonomous Administration, tribal dignitaries and residents of the region.
On Wednesday, a person lost his life by unidentified gunmen in front of his house in a town of the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.
