Residents of Syria’s Hasakah mourn SDF members lost lives in clashes with government forces

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, thousands of residents of Hasakah city, northeast Syria, participated in the funeral of two members of Tel Tamr Military Council who lost their lives during clashes with the Syrian government forces in Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah two days ago.

On March 2, the Syrian government forces launched a “provocative attack” on Tel Tamr Military Council, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in the village of Kozaliya. As a result, two members lost their lives.

“Our forces repelled the attack which resulted in the killing of two members of the government forces and injury of two others,” The SDF website published.

Following the Turkish invasion of the areas of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and Tel Abyad, the government forces deployed in the SDF-held areas, on the lines of contact with the Turkish-backed opposition factions.
