Villages of Syria’s Manbij hit with 25 Turkish shells

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) –  Since Monday morning, the Turkish forces have intensively bombed  the villages on the the front lines between the military forces of Manbij and the Turkish-backed opposition factions.

” More than 25 Turkish shells hit the villages of the front lines,” the media center of the Manbij Military Council said.

According to the center ” the houses of the residents in those villages were hit with the Turkish shelling.”

From the two bases of al-Hoshariya, north of Manbij and Sheikh Nasser, northwest of the city, the Turkish forces bombed  the villages of Aoun al-Dadat and al-Tokhar, north of Manbij and the villages of al-Yalanli and Quart Wiran northwest of the city, according to the media center.

Aoun al-Dadat crossing, north of Manbij, was also targeted by snipers and a person from the village of al-Tokhar Al-Kabir was wounded to varying degrees.

“The Turkish bombardment is a flagrant violation of international laws and agreements signed between Turkey and Russia in 2019, which stipulated a ceasefire on all front lines between the Manbij Military Council and the pro-Turkish factions,” according to the center.
