Villages in Syria’s Manbij bombed by Turkish forces

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the villages that are on the line separating the forces of the Manbij Military Council and the Turkish-backed opposition factions in the northern and northwestern countryside of Manbij, were bombed by the Turkish forces.

“From their base in the village of Sheikh Nasser, the Turkish forces bombed the villages of al-Yalanli and Qart Wiran, northwest of Manbij, with ten mortar shells ” a special source told North Press.

The villages of al-Tokhar al-Kabir and al-Jat were similarly bombed by the Turkish forces, accompanied by the flight of drones along the front lines, according to the same source.

The source, however, did not mention material damage or casualties caused as a result of the shelling.

This morning, a person from the village of al-Tokhar al-Kabir was wounded of varying degrees in a Turkish shelling on the village, north of Manbij.

Aoun al-Dadat crossing, north of Manbij, was also targeted by the Turkish forces on Monday morning.
