DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the government forces stormed a number of displaced persons’ tents, east of Daraa, and arrested six people whose whereabouts are still unknown.
“A number of displaced persons’ tents on farmland near the city of al-Harak, in the eastern countryside of Daraa, were stormed by a joint military patrol of the government forces,” North Press reported a local source.
“six young men, who had settlement cards, were arrested and taken to unknown place,” the source added.
According to the source, “the members of the patrol stole some of the contents of the tents, including electrical tools and furniture, after arresting the 6 young men.”
About a month ago, the government forces stormed a number of tents in the vicinity of the town of Atman, north of Daraa, and arrested three young men on charges of planting explosive devices targeting the government forces’ military vehicles.
