Person burns down Bashar al-Assad’s pictures in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, inside the municipality building of the city of al-Harak in the eastern countryside of Daraa, south Syria, a person burned pictures of the Syrian president.
A resident of the city burned the photos of the Syrian president, Bashar Assad , in protest against the insecurity in the area, North Press reported local sources.
“The armed person left the municipality building without being intercepted by anyone,” the sources added.
On Tuesday, a young man called Ammar Abu Safi (22 years old), was killed by unknown assailants riding a motorcycle in the city of al-Harak, in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
Despite the entire control of the Syrian government on Daraa and the reconciliation it made with the residents, the governorate witnesses unrest and security chaos where arrests, assassinations, and killings have sharply increased.
