US-led Global Coalition runs patrol in Syria’s Hasakah countryside
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The US-led Global Coalition conducted on Sunday a patrol setting off from its base in the northern countryside of Hasakah, northeast Syria, reaching to the southern countryside in the framework of its battling activities to support the Syrian Democratic Forces in war against the Islamic State Organization (ISIS).
The patrol consisted of eight armored vehicles and US military trucks accompanied by two helicopters hovering over the area.
The patrol entered through the western entrance of the city and passed through al-Sabbagh checkpoint to al-Sina’a area and then to Guweiran.
The patrol exited from Panorama roundabout south of the city and headed towards the southern countryside.
On February 8, the coalition forces ran the first patrol in the countryside of Hasakah following the ISIS last attack on al-Sina’a prison.
