Turkey targets villages in Syria’s Aleppo countryside

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish forces shelled on Wednesday several villages on the frontlines in the countryside of both Manbij and al-Bab cities north Syria.

The Turkish shelling fired from the Turkish base stationed in the village of Sheikh Naser targeted the following villages al-Yalinli, Sayyada and al-Jamousyya in the northwestern countryside of Manbij with over 15 mortars, Media Office of Manbij Military Council said.

The shelling coincided with a similar bombardment on the villages of Qurt Weiran, al-Kawikli and al-Boughaz in the eastern countryside of al-Bab city with shells, according to the Media Office of the Kurdish Front in Manbij.

On February 5, the Turkish forces targeted the vicinity of Arab Hassan village northwestern countryside of Manbij with light and medium weapons.
