US vehicles headed to Global Coalition bases in Syria’s Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, American Bradley combat vehicles plus Hammer military vehicles and trucks loaded with military and logistical equipment headed to the military bases of the Global Coalition forces in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor and Hasakah.
The convey consisted of eight American Bradley combat vehicles, two Hummers, and a number of trucks and vehicles carrying military and logistical equipment.
After reaching the Panorama roundabout in Hasakah, some of the vehicles headed towards the US-led Coalition bases in Deir ez-Zor, while the rest headed toward the base of the Global Coalition in Tel-Baidar through Jabal Abdulaziz road to the town of #Tel- Tamr.
This patrol comes within the activities of the Global Coalition to eliminate ISIS cells, particularly after the cells’ activity has recently increased, a military source who were accompanying the convey said.
The US-led Global Coalition continues to strengthen its bases in the region to confront the threat of ISIS and its active cells.
The members of the patrol had participated, alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in the bottles of al-Sina’a prison in Hasakah against ISIS last January, the source added.
SDF and the internal security forces (Asayish) continue combing operations in the countryside of Hasakah and inside the city, the source stressed.
