MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, with help of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), the anti-terror units of the Manbij Military Council, arrested cells affiliated with ISIS in the city of Manbij, north Syria.
Following-up operations, in addition to seizing a quantity of weapons and ammunition they had, five people affiliated with ISIS were arrested, according to the media center of the Manbij Military Council (affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces-SDF).
A Kalashnikov, in addition to 400 bullets, two hand grenades and a pistol were seized, the media center said.
No further details about where the operation took place or the names of the people who were arrested were released by the center.
The media center called on the residents of Manbij to immediately report any suspicious movements in order to maintain security and stability in the city.
