Turkish drone bombs north Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – A drone, believed to be of Turkey, bombed on Saturday the northern countryside of Manbij, north Syria.

The outskirts of the village of Umm Adasa, on the front line between the Manbij Military Council (affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces-SDF) and the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, northwest of Manbij was bombed today.

“The drone was launched from the Turkish base in the village of al-Yashli, north of the village of Umm Adasa, and it bombed some houses in the outskirts of the village,” North Press reported a field source.

However, no other details, on causalities or material damage were reported by the source.

Late in 2021, villages in the northern and western countryside of Manbij were intensely bombed by the Turkish forces, killing a woman and her child, and causing material damage to the property of the residents.
