Turkish artillery bombs villages in Syria’s northern Aleppo
ALEPPO NORTHERN COUNTRYSIDE, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed factions targeted on Wednesday villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo, north Syria, with heavy artillery.
The Turkish artillery targeted the villages of Shaykh Issa, Herbel, Um al-Qura, Smoqa, and Shahba dam, northern Aleppo countryside, a military source told North press.
The Turkish artillery stationed in Kaljibrin base, south of Azaz city, targeted the region with more than 20 artillery shells, the source added.
The Turkish shelling is still continuing until the moment this report is prepared.
Due to the ongoing shelling, no information about the causalities and the extent of damage have been reported, according to the source.
Shaykh Issa and Smoqa villages were bombarded yesterday evening by Turkish forces reporting no causalities or damages.
