ERBIL, KRG, Iraq (North Press) – Iraq’s Security Media Cell announced in a statement on Wednesday five Islamic State Organization (ISIS) members were killed during an airstrike south of Nineveh Governorate, north Iraq.
The airstrike with F-16 aircrafts targeted on Wednesday at dawn the ISIS group while hiding inside a cave in Hatra desert, the statement read.
Meanwhile, the statement did not disclose about the identity or nationalities of the killed ISIS members.
On Monday, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency of the Iraqi Ministry of the Interior announced, on Monday, the arrest of the leader of Umar Bin al-Khattab Brigade and one of his aides of the ISIS in Nineveh Governorate.
