SDF arrests 9 terrorists in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the arrest of nine “terrorists” in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria, in the ongoing campaigns to combat terrorism. 

The official website of the SDF published that the forces of “the Hajin Military Council arrested nine terrorists during a combing campaign in the Abu Hamam and Abu Hardoub areas, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor,” adding that “those terrorists were preparing for terrorist attacks.”

“Communications devices and documents proving their involvement in terrorist acts and their links to Turkey were seized,” the website added. 

Yesterday, the Hajin Military Council announced the arrest of five members of the ISIS sleeper cells in the town of Dhiban, east of Deir ez-Zor.
