DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Local sources said on Sunday, a man named was killed under torture in Saydnaya prison of the Syrian government forces after being detained for 4 years.

The family of Mahran Rida al-Khalaf received news of killing their son in Saydnaya prison after being tortured by Syrian government forces, the sources added.
Al-Khalaf hails from Jassem city in northern countryside of Daraa. He was detained for 4 years by members of a military checkpoint of the security branches affiliated with the government forces, while going to his work.
One of the most important terms of the settlement conducted in 2018 between the central committee in Daraa and the Syrian government was releasing detainees and reveal their whereabouts, but there are still many detainees and disappeared people, the residents said.
The Syrian government did not implement this term despite the frequent pressure by the members of the central committee in Daraa, according to the residents.
