SDF repels ground Turkish attack on Syria’s Hasakah countryside
TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – The Tel-Tamr Military Council, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), repelled a ground attack by the Turkish forces on the villages of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria, the Media Center of the SDF announced on Wednesday.
The Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions launched a ground attack on the village of Tel al-Laban, southwest of Tel Tamr.
The SDF Media Center announced that the forces of the Tel Tamr Military Council repelled the attack.
The areas is witnessing now violent clashes between the Tel Tamr Military Council and the Turkish forces alongside the opposition factions, according to SDF Media Center.
The SDF announced last month that the fighters of the Tel Tamr Military Council had managed to thwart three incursion attempts by the Turkish forces and affiliated factions towards the farms surrounding the village of Umm al-Keif in the countryside of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah.
