SDF disengages members violated its military principles during arrest of ISIS militants

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) disengaged some members from their ranks who appeared in photos that violate the moral principles of the forces during the arrest of members of ISIS in Hasakah, the SDF Media Center of the announced on Monday. 

Since January 20, the vicinity of al-Sina’a Prison in the city of Hasakah has been witnessing sporadic clashes between the SDF and ISIS cells following an attack launched by the organization’s cells in an attempt to achieve a successful mass escape of the detainees.

A harsh picture spread on social media during the arrest of a number of ISIS members who attacked al-Sina’a prison in Hasakah. 

The SDF stripped the fighters who appeared in the photos of their military identity, and disengaged them from its ranks. 

The SDF Media Center announced that the fighters were referred to the competent judiciary for violating the moral and military values and principles of the SDF.
