35 ISIS militants killed in Syria’s Hasakah, SDF

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – 13 militants of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) who attacked al-Sina’a prison in Hasakah city, were killed in an accurate operation by the SDF this morning, raising the number of the killed to 35, the SDF Media Center said on Sunday. 

The SDF Media Center added that their forces tightened the security cordon around the northern wall of the prison and could capture 2 ISIS militants in the area. 

The SDF raided specific locations to catch the attackers, who fled to the neighborhoods. 

Yesterday, the SDF said the clashes resulted in the killing of 22 ISIS militants. 

The SDF fighters deal with terrorism cells (their identity has not been identified yet) tried to help trapped ISIS militants in the northern section of the prison at Ghuweiran neighborhood, the Media Center noted. 

During the clashes, 17 fighters of the SDF and the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) lost their lives. 

The SDF stressed that the forces fight accurately to prevent the attackers escaping the punishment.
